Diabetes UK Inspire Award for Fundraising

About Us

The Michael Lewis Foundation was formed in March 2016 in memory of Michael James Lewis, who passed away in November 2015 due to DIB syndrome associated with Type 1 Diabetes. Michael was a positive person who never let his diabetes stop him from achieving his dreams in Sound, Lighting and live event Technology. The foundation has a great relationship with Diabetes UK and has won awards for fundraising. In December 2017, the foundation was awarded full charity status to make a difference to individuals and help prevent other families from experiencing the pain of losing a loved one to Type 1 Diabetes.
