Well what can we say Lynda who until she started on her first practice walk had never climbed/walked up a mountain before but was prepared to put her body on the line for Crowe Clark Whitehill’s charity of the year The Michael Lewis Foundation to cover the 24.5 miles in just over 11 hours.
Having committed herself to completing, this she also managed to convince her daughter to undertake it with her and Sally her friend and colleague along with Sally’s family to act as support for this very tough challenge.
The courage and determination shown was also equalled by Matt Moore who had to withdraw from the challenge last year after an horrific injury that nearly left him without a number of toes. To recover from such an injury and to complete his challenge a year later shows true character.
Huge thanks go to the other members of the team Chris, Rob, Joe
Fantastic effort from everyone.
