Lynda’s first practice walk up a mountain was also her first time ever attempting such a feat. Despite this, she was determined to put her body on the line for the Crowe Clark Whitehill’s charity of the year, The Michael Lewis Foundation. Lynda set out to cover the challenging 24.5 miles in just over 11 hours, determined to complete what she had started.

Not only did Lynda commit to completing the challenge, but she also managed to convince her daughter to join her on the trek. Sally, Lynda’s friend and colleague, and Sally’s family also joined the team to act as support for this incredibly tough challenge.

Lynda’s courage and determination were matched by Matt Moore, who had to withdraw from the challenge the previous year due to a horrific injury that nearly resulted in him losing several toes. Despite this setback, Matt worked tirelessly to recover from his injury and complete the challenge a year later. His perseverance and strength of character were truly inspiring.

Huge thanks go to the other members of the team, Chris, Rob, and Joe, for their fantastic effort and unwavering support throughout the challenge. The team’s determination and commitment to the cause helped to raise awareness and vital funds for The Michael Lewis Foundation, enabling the charity to continue its important work.
